I spent 3 Months at Escourt Estcourt, I was sent there for the sea hair to clear my double pheumonia I was 4 at time. Strangely I remember a significant amount of my 3 Months there. It was always cold and very damp from the sea air and I had no idea why I was there. My best memory was the day I left and no the sea air did not cure my pheumonia.

In 1969 I worked at the Chidren's Hospital as a physio aide and part of my role was to go to Escourt House and another place with an Aboriginal name to do postural drainage on the children staying there.
