Lithuanians in South Australia is a group of people of Lithuanian background, who at any point made Adelaide their home. The community meet at Lithuanian House and organise a range of events and activitites. 

  1. Adelaide Lithuanian Catholic Centre

    Since 1960 the Adelaide Lithuanian Catholic Centre has served as a place of worship.

  2. Hardwicke Girls College

    An inclusive girls school just outside the Adelaide city centre that educated girls on par with their brothers.  Unheard of at the time, this beautiful two story red brick building still stands in the shady leafed neighbourhood of St Peters.

  3. Vanagas, Mr. Jonas

    A quiet unassuming immigrant to Australia, Jonas Vanagas gave his free time to collect the history of Lobethal and the Lithuanian community.

  4. Lithuanian House

    Lithuanian house is a meeting place and cultural centre established by the Lithuanian community in Adelaide.
